Salve Kits

Simple salve kits for all levels of makers.

If you are just getting started on your herbal journey and want to dabble in salve making, if you want to try out a new recipe or if you just want to make your own salve with high quality, simple natural ingredients and skip the step of making oils - these kits have everything you need.

The basic kit contains 1 vial of oil (10ml), 3 cubes of beeswax (each one is the equivalent of 1/2 teaspoon) and a glass salve pot. 

The trio salve kit is for 3 oils that you can custom pick from any of the available singles.  Please add your choices to the notes in your order.

The trio kit contains 3 vial of oil, 9 cubes of beeswax and 1 glass pot. 

Each kit comes in a small cloth bag.  If you would like hand printed gift packaging, this can be purchased separately.

INSTRUCTIONS

Using a double boiler, heat the water until your pan is hot to the touch.  Add the vial of oil and either 1 or 2 cubes of beeswax to the pan. 

1 vial of oil plus 1 cube of beeswax will give you a 4:1 ratio of oil to wax. This will give you a solid but soft consistency.  If you like your salve harder to the touch, you can add more beeswax.

Wait until the beeswax has fully melted and then pour the mixture into the glass pot of salve container of your choice. Let the mixture cool and harden and then it is ready for use.
