Frankincense Butter

FRANKINCENSE BUTTER

Frankincense is commonly used to address mature skin and signs of aging, believed to add elasticity to the skin, and treat scar tissue.   We infuse resin directly into EVOO as the base for this butter to capture boswellic acids and other theraputic compounds which have anti-inflammatory properties to improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

Sourced from a small deciduous tree, Boswellia sarcra - the resin is gathered by making a number of incisions in the bark and the gum resins are allowed to ooze out and solidify for a few weeks.  The harvesters then return to each tree to collect the resin.  The resins are then transported to local villages where they are further dried in the shade.  Frankincense is a member of the Burseraceae family.

This travel-sized butter can be used on face or body.

INGREDIENTS: Frankincense resin infused in organic EVOO*, raw mango butter.

Vegan and suitable for all skin types.

Whole resin extract. Simple, all natural ingredients. No essential oils.
